This grade of Dr. Turmeric’s Red Turmeric Powder is excellent for blended beverages, lattes, lemonades, innovative tea drinks and culinary dishes. The pungency and depth of this harvest blends well with milk, sweetener and other spices for golden milk chai and lattes. It adds wonderful color, energy and taste appeal to fruit smoothies and juices for an antioxidant and healthful boost. This premium grade is cold milled into a fine powder and vacuum packaged into a glass jar. The aroma and character are like no other common, spice market grade of turmeric powder you may have seen. It is a fine talc powder and there is no need to sift or strain it.
Turmeric has a long history of medicinal and traditional uses in foods and beverages, with over 100 different varieties. The Red turmeric variety typically has a higher level of curcumin than the more common type of culinary «curry» yellow turmeric. Red turmeric has higher antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-aging effects. It is the turmeric associated with Okinawan longevity and healthy living. It has a pleasant pungency with fruity-floral aromas that evoke aromatic citrus and flowers. This type of turmeric features a vivid reddish-gold saffron color.

TRADITIONAL PREPARATION
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Red Turmeric Powder with Water:
Add 1 teaspoon to a matcha bowl (tea bowl). Add 100 ml hot water (195*F) whisk until frothy and enjoy. This turmeric shot is great on its own, or it can be diluted with added hot water, lemon and some honey or cane sugar to taste.
Red Turmeric Powder Fruit Smoothie or Juice Boost:
Blend 1 teaspoon per every 250 ml ( 1 cup ) of liquid volume
Red Turmeric Powder Latte:
Whisk 1 teaspoon into 100 ml steamed milk and pour into a mug. Top off with 150 ml steamed milk with or without sweetener. Adding a ½ teaspoon of bamboo ginger powder to the turmeric whisking stage is good too.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
